An Evening with the Poet Laureate: Poetry as Protest and Peacemaker

In celebration of National Poetry Month, the Medford Public Library begins a three-part series with Medford poet laureate Terry E. Carter, with tonight’s theme being Poetry as Protest and Peacemaker. Join Terry as he explores the themes of race, social justice, allyship and community through the prism of poetry. RSVP through the library’s online calendar.

Future events in the series will be Young Poets of Medford Night on Tuesday, April 18, and Drums Along the Mystic on Tuesday, April 25.
