The Medford Public Library introduces an Adaptive Drama Club for Adults that will meet monthly over the summer. Drama Club participants will enjoy a fun-filled hour of developing skills in acting, singing and dancing as they learn about theater in group and individual activities. Social skills will also be taught and reinforced with “Ms. Jen’s Theatre Etiquette.” A typical class (one hour) includes a welcome circle; warm-ups; acting exercises; singing and dancing activities; rehearsal; and cools downs. Space is limited, and registration is required for each class; using the library’s online calendar. Future Drama Club meeting dates are Wednesday, July 17, and Wednesday, August 28. Supported in part by a grant from the Medford Arts Council.
