Little Low plays Deep Cuts to celebrate the release of their first LP, "Sunshine Guilt." The band originally started as a solo project in Boston by guitarist and vocalist Christine Atturio (Save Ends). Other members are drummer Mike Assatly (Spirits, Beartrap), guitarist Eric Pocock (Discourage), and bass player and vocalist Kris Moya (Jabber, Long Knives). Also performing: Cape Crush, Sad Lands (from New York) and Hedge. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 show day through Dice.

Matt & Shannon Heaton Virtual Guided Session

Medford musicians Matt and Shannon Heaton host their monthly Virtual Guided Session, taking place on the second Saturday of the month in May and June, instead of the usual third Saturday. Tune learners, second instrument players, or anyone who enjoys traditional Irish music are welcome for mid-tempo Irish tunes — jigs, reels and more — upbeat chat, and connection with other trad music lovers. Dining Dead, an ethereal rock band from Seattle, brings its East Coast spring tour to Deep Cuts, fresh off the release of their sophomore album, "Is This A House?" Members are Emma Belmont (guitar), Sammy Skidmore (vocals, guitar), Bogie Pieper (drums), Shannon Barberry (bass) and Kennedy Webb (keys, synth, violin, vocals). After headlining the Great American Beer Hall's New Year's Eve and St. Patrick's Day parties, country singer/songwriter Maddi Ryan and her band return to rock the hall. A rising star from Methuen, Ryan is known for her heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocals. Country 102.5 says she is “as tall as Taylor and has a voice that booms like Ballerini."

The Tufts Sunday Concert Series concludes its 2024-25 season with the Tufts Youth Philharmonic Orchestra performing its final concert of the school year, under the direction of John Page. The Brooklyn band Worriers, led by songwriter Lauren Denitzio, headlines at Deep Cuts. They've toured with acts like John K Samson, Against Me!, Julien Baker, Anti Flag, The Wonder Years, and more. Upcoming concerts will feature the grades 6 through 12 band at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, and the grades 4 and 5 band/orchestra at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, both at the Caron Theater.
