You and your grown-up will follow along with a beginner-friendly video tutorial and create a duo (or group) of paintings to bring home and treasure forever. This month, we will be painting some spooooooooky black cats! All supplies are provided by the library. All skill levels welcome. Wingmasters: North American Birds of Prey (Ages 6+)

Our friends from Wingmasters will be joining us for their New England Birds of Prey presentation. Birds of prey are also known as raptors, and they are hunting birds characterized by hooked beaks and powerful grabbing feet armed with sharp talons (the word raptor comes from a Latin word that means "to seize"). Raptors can also boast the best eyesight and the sharpest hearing in the animal kingdom. Haunted Doll Scavenger Hunt
Medford Public Library 111 High St., Medford, MA, United StatesThe dolls are back! They took an adventure into the woods and we need help finding them. Can you help us? This all-ages “haunted” doll scavenger hunt will kick off at Wright’s Pond at 1pm on Sunday, Oct. 26. Be sure to wear your hiking shoes because the dolls will be hidden along the trails. Registration is appreciated; all are welcome! Participants will all receive a free book.
