Western Line Dancing for Seniors
The Medford Council on Aging presents "Beginner and Beyond Country," a weekly class on Western Line Dancing for seniors led by Julie Kaufmann. The class includes both beginner (newer dancers) and improver (experienced dancers) lessons each week. No partner is needed, nor any previous experience. Cost is $3 per class.

The Medford Family Network is teaming up with the Medford Housing Authority to offer "My First Game," a reading enrichment program that also focuses on building social and emotional skills for children in grades 1 to 3. Arts Collaborative Medford is hosting a Tea Towel Printing Workshop led by Medford resident Christine Willis. Explore creating patterns using repetition and overlapping shapes with found objects like bottle tops, cardboard, forks, wine corks, or even fruit and veggies. The Medford Recreation Department presents a nine-week Music Together class for children ages 1 month to 5 years. Taught by Mystic Valley Music Together, the classes are playful, rich and engaging and help children discover their inner music-maker by playing with the grownups they love. Classes will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesdays from April 24 through June 19. Cost is $220 for residents, $240 for non-residents. Register through the Medford Recreation website.

The Medford Senior Center's weekly crafts group, led by students from Tufts University, provides a creative outlet, a place to learn new skills, and a chance to connect with fellow community members. The Medford Family Network is offering a beginner English class for Medford parents/caregivers with at least one child age birth to 8. This is a Level 1 class for beginner students with little knowledge of the English language. Learn the English alphabet, numbers, pronouns, present continuous, simple present tense, basic adjectives, prepositions, and everyday vocabulary. Dance away your cares at the Medford Public Library as Dance Caliente presents a fun and lively lesson on the waltz. Dancers of all levels and ages are invited to attend.
