The Medford Council on Aging presents "Beginner and Beyond Country," a weekly class on Western Line Dancing for seniors led by Julie Kaufmann. The class includes both beginner (newer dancers) and improver (experienced dancers) lessons each week. No partner is needed, nor is any previous experience. Cost is $3 per class.

Three Ways to Write and Publish Poetry

The Medford Public Library is offering four sessions of Three Ways to Write and Publish Poetry, led by author and poet Shirley Gerald Ware of Medford. The class will meet each Tuesday in August from 11 a.m. to noon. Shirley is the author of 11 books, most recently the young adult novel “The Three of Us,” published in 2022. She also is the publisher of “Fresh! Literary Magazine,” which features the work of teen and adult writers locally and worldwide.…

Digital Music Workshop for Teens

The Medford Public Library begins a three-part Digital Music Workshop course for teens in middle school and high school led by Raleigh Green, a music technologist and professional musician from Medford. The workshop will cover the basics of Garage Band, Logic Pro and more. Attendance at all three sessions (August 7, 14, and 21) is required. Registration is required through the library's online calendar. Signing up for the first session automatically enrolls you in all three.
