The Medford Public Library presents its monthly Teen Maker Night. Create, break and build things in the Maker Space. The event is for teens in middle school and high school to learn and create. There are no assigned projects in this program; it is designed for you to come in to explore and experiment with different making tools. Space is limited and sign-up is required through the library's online calendar.

The Medford Public Library invites teens in middle school and high school to come learn about 3D printing and test the library’s 3D printers. Please note that because of how long it takes to print, you are not guaranteed to go home with a finished creation! Registration is required through the library's online calendar. The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly art class for seniors led by Tom Wojciechowski, a visual artist who works in a variety of media including installation, painting, photography and books. You will build skills and techniques each week and try out various processes that help you experiment and find joy in art and image making. The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly Ballroom and Latin Dancing Class at the Medford Senior Center. In this fun and high-energy class, you will have a great workout, meet new friends, and learn some of the most popular Latin American dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Rumba, Cha-cha, etc. No partner and no experience necessary. The City of Medford continues its series of Haitian Heritage Month events with a workshop at the Medford Family Network to Create Your Own Haitian Art with Medford artist Sarah Beardslee of Beads by Beardslee. The series concludes this afternoon with a Haitian Flag Day Celebration from 3 to 5 p.m. at Andrews Middle School. The series is a collaboration between the City of Medford’s Health Department, the Medford Family Network, Medford Public Library, and DiamondTale Consulting Inc.

Medford musicians Matt and Shannon Heaton host their monthly third Saturday Virtual Guided Session. Tune learners, second instrument players, or anyone who enjoys traditional Irish music are welcome for moderately paced Irish tunes — jigs, reels and more — upbeat chat, and connection with other trad music lovers.
