The Medford Public Library invites kids ages 8 to 12, accompanied by an adult, to come to the Maker Space and test out something new or work on a project of your own. The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly Ballroom and Latin Dancing Class at the Medford Senior Center. In this fun and high-energy class, you will have a great workout, meet new friends, and learn some of the most popular Latin American dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Rumba, Cha-cha, etc. No partner and no experience necessary. The Medford Public Schools Performing Arts Department will once again offer a two-week Jumpstart Music Camp at Medford High School where students can get a jumpstart on their success for the coming school year. The Medford Recreation Department and All Court Enrichment (ACE) are offering a weeklong Summer Tennis and Writing Program for kids age 7 to 14 at Dugger Park. Students receive two hours of fitness/tennis training and 45 minutes of creative and fun writing activities. Cost for the five-day program is $250; scholarships are available.
