Children’s Portuguese Story Time (Ages 3-7)
Medford Public Library 111 High St., Medford, MA, United StatesThis storytime series is designed for children ages 3-7. Join us for this multi-week course of exciting Portuguese storytimes! Music and movement will follow a story read-aloud. Portuguese storytimes will take place on Saturdays in October. During this program, children are encouraged to fully engage with the movement and games and to use as much Portuguese vocabulary as possible. Storytimes can get crowded and loud; there is often music and lots of conversation. This program is a drop in, no need to register!
Children’s Sharpie Art (Ages 8-12)
Medford Public Library 111 High St., Medford, MA, United StatesMake art with Sharpies and learn a technique on how to transform it! All supplies will be provided by the library. During this program, children are encouraged to engage fully with the craft and try it out, even if they think it might be too hard. This program may get loud because of conversation in the room. This program is for kids ages 8-12 and registration is required.
Family Paint Night (Ages 6+)

You and your grown-up will follow along with a beginner-friendly video tutorial and create a duo (or group) of paintings to bring home and treasure forever. This month, we will be painting some spooooooooky black cats! All supplies are provided by the library. All skill levels welcome. Family Story Time at the Medford Public Library

We will explore new concepts with books and songs. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in! Story Time ends with a short craft or activity.
