Glass Menorah Workshop
Wednesday, November 5 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
In this 2 hour glass fusing workshop you will learn the basics of glass fusing by creating a menorah. This will be kiln-fired at 1400 degrees – a low temperature that allows the glass elements of your design to stay 3 dimensional. To create your composition, you will work with powders, frit, confetti, copper shapes, stringers, and glass pieces.
Your instructor, Michel L’Huillier, will fire your creation in his own kiln. The glass creations will be returned once they have been fired.
The workshop is for adults. No previous glass experience is necessary.
Safety note: Students must wear closed toe shoes. Safety glasses are required and will be provided for students not wearing eyeglasses.
