Palm Press Bookstore in Medford Square presents a talk with Saint Lucy Books artist Hannah Altman. In a conversation with Saint Lucy’s Mark Alice Durant, Altman will discuss everything from initial communication between artist and publisher, book design and sequence, materials, image and text, and more. She will be signing copies of her brand new book, “We Will Return to You.” The talk will begin at 1 p.m. and a Q&A and book signing will follow.

Established in 2017, Saint Lucy Books publishes elegant, idiosyncratic, and accessible books that combine words and images to celebrate contemporary photographic artists, and to explore the marginal, hidden, and parallel histories of photography.

Palm Press Bookstore features more than 1,000 used photobooks curated from the collection of owner Gus Kayafas, as well as a selection of new books from an expanding list of publishers such as Stanley/Barker, MACK, Steidl, Eakins Press, MoMA and more.
