The Gipsy Kings return to Chevalier Theatre with a show featuring the band’s founder and leader, Tonino Baliardo.  A guitar virtuoso and a composer recognized worldwide, Baliardo composed and produced the Gipsy Kings’ greatest hits, such as “Bamboleo” and “Djobi Djoba.” Most recently Tonino was awarded a platinum record for his duet with Takagi Ketra and a triple platinum record with “Ingobernable” in a duet with C. Tangana. Undisputed masters of gypsy music, the Gipsy Kings have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and has been awarded numerous gold, platinum and diamond discs, and notched a Grammy Award in 2013 in the Best World Music category for the album “Savor Flamenco.” Tickets are $49 to $95 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster.
