Medford youth theater company Spotlight Productions presents the first of four performances of “Oliver!,” the beloved musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, at Medford High’s Marsha Caron Theater. ​Step into the heart of 19th-century London and follow young Oliver Twist as he embarks on a journey from the harsh conditions of a workhouse to the bustling streets of the city, encountering unforgettable characters such as the cunning Fagin, the charming Artful Dodger, and the menacing Bill Sikes. With a timeless score featuring songs like “Consider Yourself” and “Where Is Love?”, this heartwarming tale of resilience, hope and belonging will captivate audiences of all ages. Tickets are $20 through Eventbrite. Additional performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 31, and at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, all at Marsha Caron Theater.
