The Medford Jazz Festival returns to Arts Collaborative Medford for a Winter Jam. This loosely holiday-themed session will feature jazz pianist Jonathan Fagan joined by his longtime mentor Ross Adams on bass, along with newcomer Renato Malavasi on drums. As always, the jam is open to all instruments and experience levels. Bring your favorite holiday jazz arrangement, or read one out of the “Christmas Real Book” if you prefer. The set will open with a few Vince Guaraldi classics and then everyone will be invited to get up to play.

Jonathan Fagan launched the Medford Jazz Festival in October 2020 with a five-day event showcasing the cultural diversity, creativity and talent of local musicians through several virtual concerts. In-person jam sessions were initiated in December 2021, and the first in-person Jazz Festival followed in October 2022 and has continued through 2024.
