Friends of the Medford Public Library presents its annual spring book sale to benefit the library. The sale includes thousands of books in good condition and organized by category. Additionally, there will be DVDs and CDs, board games and jigsaw puzzles. All were donated by generous members of the community. Most items are priced at $1.50 or less. There also will be a selection of better quality, new or rare books at slightly higher prices. Friends of the Library members are invited to a members-only preview sale on Friday evening, April 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The sale is open to the public on Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (with an accompanying bake sale), and will conclude on Sunday, April 7, from 2 to 5 p.m.
