The Tufts Opera Ensemble, under the direction of Carol Mastrodomenico and Thomas Stumpf, presents the second of two performances of the prize-winning one-act comic opera “An Embarrassing Position” (2010) by Boston composer Dan Shore. The delightful libretto is based on a short 1895 play by American author Kate Chopin. They will also perform “Bon Appetit” by Lee Hoiby, based on an episode of Julia Child’s 1960 TV show “The French Chef,” and “Scrapbookers” by Leanna Kirchoff, with a libretto by Leanna Kirchoff.
