With the West Medford Community Center closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, this month’s Words and Music program will be presented online. In recognition of National Poetry Month, the “Words” portion of the evening will be “The Power of the Poet.” Host Terry E. Carter, author and poet, will moderate a panel discussion with four other poets: Max Heinegg, Aime Saulnier and Sarah Gerould of Medford, and Yvonne Readdy of Milton.

West Medford Community Center launched Words and Music in 2017. Usually presented on the first Friday of every month, the event starts off with a discussion on a valuable aspect of the community, followed by a performance by a local musician or musicians.
