Enjoy three hours of social dancing with a focus on Salsa and Swing — dances that have grown out of American, African, and Cuban dance styles. Seasoned and new dancers are welcome and short dance lessons with Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves of Dance Caliente will take place throughout the evening. Come with or without a partner.

To prepare for this event, you can learn some skills at Swing workshop on Sunday, October 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Borealis Yoga ($25 in advance through the Borealis website, $30 at the door), and at a Waltz workshop on Wednesday, October 17 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Medford Public Library (free).
