S P A D E is created through curricular connections with the TDPS Devised Performance class, based on a fictional amateur true-crime documentary about a girl murdered and dismembered in Missouri in 1989. Through ritual reenactment, ensemble-driven object work, and collective imagining, S P A D E makes new meaning of the scene of the crime.
