The Russia and Eurasia Program at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the Department of Music at Tufts University present a conversation with the famed rapper and singer Noize MC about music, poetry and politics in Russia. He will discuss his opposition to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, answer questions from the audience, and perform several songs. The talk will be moderated by visiting scholar Oleg Shakirov. Ivan Alekseev, better known by his stage name Noize MC, is a Russian hip-hop and rock artist renowned for his sarcastic lyrics, experimental sound, and freestyler talent.
