Comedian Michael Carbonaro, best know for his truTV comedic series “The Carbonaro Effect,” brings his Lies On Stage tour to Chevalier Theatre. In his TV series, Carbonaro performs inventive tricks on unsuspecting members of the public who are unaware that he is a magician. Whether posing as a coffee shop barista, museum curator, or seemingly unremarkable store clerk, Carbonaro’s illusions — along with his absurd, matter-of-fact explanations — leave people bewildered and audiences laughing out loud. Tickets are $45 to $59 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Tickemaster. Tickets also may be purchased, free of online ordering fees, at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show.
