The Medford community is invited to attend the installation of the first permanent public artwork outside Medford High School, the “Over the Rainbow” mosaics that salute the MHS theme and celebration of diversity, equity and inclusion. The 13 separate circular mosaics were designed and collaboratively created by Medford students, families, and friends — at least 120 mosaic makers in all, from elementary school students to seniors!

Meet outside the “Purple Door” to the Medford Family Network on the west side of the Medford High School complex. There will be rree water and granola bars, and free gifts to all who attend.

The mosaic project was organized by director Marie Cassidy and the Medford Family Network, artist Susan Altman and ArtsMedford, and MHS art teacher Suzanne Fee. It was supported in part by the Medford Arts Council and the Arts Alive Medford Foundation.
