Historic Medford is offering a series of 10 trolley tours highlighting the city’s rich history. Learn about the Native Americans who lived here, the Mass Bay Colony with John Winthrop, the Mystic River, shipbuilding, bricks, rum, the transatlantic trade, the Royall House and Slave Quarters, the Middlesex Canal, Brooks Estate, Samuel Crocker Lawrence and the Lawrence Light Guard, and much more.

The 90-minute tour begins and ends at the Salem Street Burying Ground on River Street. Tickets are $15 person and can be reserved through the Historic Medford Facebook page or by calling  617-909-9898. Seating capacity is 25 per tour.

Additional tour dates are Monday, April 18 (Patriots Day), from 9 to 10 a.m.; Sunday, April 24, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday, May 8 (Mother’s Day), from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (free for mothers); and Sunday, May 29, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Five Pub Crawl tours will be offered on June 10, 11, 20, 26, and July 3.
