Noted historian Anthony Sammarco will be the guest host for today’s Historic Medford trolley tour highlighting the city’s rich history. The tour will highlight Cradock and his Plantation on the Mystic, the Massachusetts Bay Colony with Governor John Winthrop, the Mystic River, shipbuilding, bricks, rum, and the triangle trade between Boston-Africa-West Indies. You’ll see the Royall House and Slave Quarters, the site of the Middlesex Canal, the Shepherd Brooks Estate, the Lawrence Estates, and much more.

The 90-minute tour begins and ends at the Salem Street Burying Ground on River Street. Tickets are $15 person and can be reserved through the Historic Medford Facebook page or by calling  617-909-9898. Seating capacity is 25 per tour.
