Today is the final day to view Medford artist Sarah Gerould’s exhibition of landscape paintings on display in the second-floor gallery of the new Charlotte & William Bloomberg Library building. Gerould began painting in 1997, first in watercolors, and then in oils starting in 2009. She often brings marbling, printing, mosaic and collage techniques into her work. In workshop and class settings, she studied painting under Jill Banks, Maud Taber-Thomas, Christine Lashley, Gavin Glakas, Lassie Corbet and Arnold Lopes while living in Virginia. Since moving to Massachusetts, she has studied under Alexandra Rozenman, Judith Prager, Diane Novetsky, Todd Bonita, Alastair Dacy, Chris Volpe and Peter Bain.
