The Medford Chess Club invites you to its weekly meet-up in Medford Square, taking place in the gazebo at the Saltonstall Building near the Medford Senior Center. Please note the earlier starting time than the usual 1 p.m., due to the library being closed on Saturday afternoons in July and August.

The club has chess sets, chess clocks, and helpful members who are willing to teach you the rules if you’re new to the game. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome, but those under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult or mature older sibling. There are no membership dues or fees to play.
