The Medford Chess Club invites you to its weekly meet-up in Medford Square. If the weather is favorable, the group will meet outdoors at the gazebo at the Saltonstall Building near the Medford Senior Center. If the weather is poor, the group meets in the second-floor gallery at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. The club has chess sets, chess clocks, and helpful members who are willing to teach you the rules if you’re new to the game. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome, but those under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult or mature older sibling. There are no membership dues or fees to play.
