The Mystic Project invites you to an art sale showcasing the work of participants in the Mystic Project’s Artrepreneurs Youth program. Artrepreneurs Youth is a weekly afterschool program where youth harness their creative skills to recycle and repurpose waste materials into saleable art, while learning about conservation, and entrepreneurship skills. This year, the Artrepreneurs are venturing into the world of art kits; their curiosity has stimulated new interests in learning how to assemble at-home DIY crafting kits, repurposing materials, preparing written and digital tutorials, and creating marketing materials for advertising. Come browse their creations in the library’s Bonsignore Hall. There will be DIY kits for children to paint their own faux stone vases, handmade cards and dried flower arrangements that make perfect and affordable Mother’s Day gifts.
