Sanctuary United Church of Christ presents a reception and reflection with artist Christina Chang, whose contemporary paintings are on display at the Sanctuary Gallery from through October 27. Chang is a Boston native who received a BFA in Painting from Texas Christian University and a MAT from Rhode Island School of Design. She has worked as an art educator for many years, in public and private schools, teaching children and adults. Chang is currently working on a series of abstract paintings that use saturated colors to convey strong emotions. Hear from Christina at this reception about her work, and join the conversation.
