For the past four years, journalist and YouTube series star Andrew Callaghan has been working on a secret documentary and feature film that is having its premiere this week in two private screenings at Chevalier Theatre, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmaker. Callaghan is the host of “Channel 5” on YouTube, where he does street interviews with fascinating humans at the edges of society, the so-called vagrants, vagabonds, runaways, and outlaws, from QAnon adherents to Phish heads to O Block residents and much more. Callaghan made his feature film directorial debut with “This Place Rules,” a 2022 HBO/HBO Max documentary that follows Callaghan as he travels across the United States in the months preceding the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. No phones, cameras, or recording devices allowed. Tickets are $30 to $50 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster. To avoid online ordering fees, purchase tickets at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier Theatre show.
