The Medford Middle Schools Drama Club presents the second of four performances of "Into the Woods Jr.," a new take on Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s musical fairytale about wishes and the choices we make. Allston's Beeef returns to headline at Deep Cuts, where they made their debut last June. Founding member Perry Eaton describes the band's music as "jangly nostalgic basement-rock." Other members are Dan Schiffer, Neil Patch and Josh Bolduc. Beeef released the album "Somebody's Favorite" last fall. Also performing: The Croaks and DD Island. It's time to finish preparing the Royall House & Slave Quarters grounds for the museum's 2025 tour season, which opens on June 7. A group of Tufts University students began the task in April by raking and picking up sticks. The Medford Public Library invites you to a special Saturday morning outdoor sing along with Matt Heaton. Matt, who regularly performs at the library on the second Thursday of the month, will lead this toe-tapping, rockin' sing along on the Cummings Terrace patio.
