Regie Gibson will headline the afternoon, which will also highlight NEPC member poets based in Medford: Julia Lisella, Marlena Merrin, Leticia Priebe Rocha, and Medford Poet Laureate Vijaya Sundaram. The Medford Public Library's Monday Morning Mysteries group meets to discuss "The Beekeeper’s Apprentice" by Laurie King. Books will be available approximately four weeks in advance. The Medford Public Library hosts its second Friday "Coffee and Books" session with director Barbara Kerr. Join Barbara in Bonsignore Hall for coffee and a discussion of the hot new books and interesting titles the library recently acquired. No assigned reading or registration is required. Coffee provided by Chapters Coffee Carts, the nonprofit coffee and snack cart that operates in the library's second-floor gallery. Its mission is to set up supported worksites for people with disabilities.      

The Medford Public Library's book club for fourth- and fifth-graders meets in the Maker Space to discuss "The Luminous Life of Lucy Landry" by Anna Rose Johnson. The book is available for pickup at the Children’s Desk. Please note that this event is only for those in grades 4 or 5. Registration is required through the library's online calendar.
