Haitian Heritage Month: Haitian Flag Day Celebration
The City of Medford concludes its series of Haitian Heritage Month events a Haitian Flag Day Celebration at Andrews Middle School. There will be speakers, food, music, and children’s games/activities. The series is a collaboration between the City of Medford’s Health Department, the Medford Family Network, Medford Public Library, and DiamondTale Consulting Inc.

Planning with a Scorpio, a queer and Puerto Rican-Owned sticker, greeting card and stationery shop based in Revere, is presenting its first outdoor market, the Makers on the Mystic Pop-up at the Condon Shell. Interested vendors, food trucks, and performers/DJs are invited to apply through the event's online form.

Medford Porchfest
The second annual Medford Porchfest, an afternoon of free performances throughout the city, spotlighting the musical skills and diverse cultures of the Medford community, takes place today from noon to 5 p.m. In last year's inaugural event, more than 150 acts played at over 100 locations. Mark your calendars for Circle the Square, CACHE in Medford's annual free downtown street festival that brings Medford Square alive with live music, artisan vendors, food, activities for children, dance and theater performances, martial arts demos, face painting, and much more. The 25th annual West Medford Open Studios will be staged as a one-day event at Dugger Park and the West Medford Community Center. It will showcase the talents of more than 70 visual artists from Medford and surrounding communities, plus features live music and spoken word performances, food and beverages, and more. CACHE’s Mystic River Celebration
CACHE in Medford presents another Mystic River Celebration arts festival at the Condon Band Shell and park. Plan to spend the afternoon enjoying live performances, browsing local artisan crafts, and taking part in fun activities for all ages. Event details will be announced closer to the date.

Mark your calendars for the annual Community Day at Tufts University, where Tufts students, faculty and staff come together with community nonprofits and neighbors to celebrate. There will be live performances, children's activities, Medford and Somerville community groups and resources, research projects by university faculty, raffles, and free food and refreshments.
