Tufts Avenue of the Arts Festival
Stroll over to Talbot Avenue on the Tufts University campus for the annual Avenue of the Arts Festival, a tradition on Family and Parents Weekend featuring live performances by Tufts students musicians, singers, dancers, and actors.

The Tufts University Dance Program celebrates the wide array of dance activity on campus with performances by members of many of the student dance groups including Sarabande, Tamasha, JumboRaas, Tufts Tap Ensemble, Tufts Ballroom, and more. The event, part of Parents' Weekend, is free and open to the public.

The Tufts University Department of Drama and Dance presents its first Dances at Noon program of the school year. The event features showings of new works and works-in-progress by Boston-area artists in an informal setting, including post-performance discussions with the choreographers and dancers. Free and open to the public. Future Dances at Noon dates are March 1 and 29, 2019.

Bare Bodkin Theater Company at Tufts University presents Stars and Stories, its outdoor festival featuring a variety of art: performance, visual, collaborative crossover pieces combining existing groups on campus, and more. The event will take place at four locations -- on the President's Lawn; on the bridge linking Paige and Miner halls; outside Eaton Hall; and at the Cannon between Goddard Chapel and Ballou Hall.

This year's two-day Fall Dance Weekend at Tufts University highlights new choreography created by students, and by faculty artists Jaclyn Waguespack and Daniel McCusker, in collaboration with students from Dance Repertory & Performance and the First Year Dance Ensemble. Tufts Dance: New Movement Works
Death solo? Dorm room dance? Prop studies? Chair dances? HAIR dances? Bus stops? The BEST DANCE imaginable? Clementines? All of this (and more!) will be on display as the Tufts University Dance Department showcases works in progress from the fall Dance Composition led by Daniel McCusker. The program will includes works composed by and featuring Max Cooper, Alice Dempsey, Charlotte Eccles, Al Ellison and Sasha Hukower. Free and open to the public.

Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves of Dance Caliente present "Dancing Through the Decades," an interactive ballroom dance performance designed to engage, inspire and entertain a senior audience. The audience is transported through time with heart-throbbing theatrical ballroom dancing, dazzling period costumes, amusing stories, nostalgic music, and lots of audience participation. At least six uplifting dances will be performed.

Super Arts Saturday at Tufts
Tufts University invites you to Super Arts Saturday, an arts experience for children designed to inspire creativity and joy in the arts.
