Feeling fidgety? Attend this Medford Public Library workshop for adults on how to make a thaumatrope, or a spinning optical illusion, and create your very own optical illusion fidget toy. The thaumatrope optical toy was popular in the 19th century. A disk with a picture on each side is attached to two pieces of string. Arts Collaborative Medford is hosting The Banners Project: A Sewing Circle, led by the Green Cambridge program Cambridge Wildlife Arts.
