Medford youth theater company Spotlight Productions presents the first of six performances of “Shrek the Musical Jr.” at the Marsha Caron Theater at Medford High School. Follow Shrek, Donkey and Fiona as they take on a land of misfit fairy tale creatures, a tiny villain with big plans, and the ultimate lesson that being yourself is the greatest happily-ever-after. Tickets are $20 through Eventbrite or at the door. Additional performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 6; 2:30 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 7; and 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 8. When purchasing tickets, note that there two casts, the Happily Ever Cast and the Once Upon a Time Cast, with each cast performing three times.
