Chess on the Plaza

FreeThe Medford Chess Club, which usually meets on Saturdays, has shifted this weekend’s meetup to Sunday, July 31, from 1 to 3 p.m. Some people from the Jamaica Plain Chess Club will drop by for a friendly match. The Medford Chess Club is organized by Medford residents and led by Jack Elsey. It formed in 2018 to develop an awareness for chess in the new Riverside Plaza through Chess on the Plaza, lessons, friendships and local tournaments. There are no membership dues or fees to play.
