Cyanotype Workshop
Arts Collaborative Medford 162 Mystic Ave., MedfordThis workshop is a hands-on experience in the entire cyanotype process, from blank paper to finished beautiful blue prints. One of the first photographic processes ever developed, cyanotypes (also known as blueprints or sunprints) allow individuals to create unique prints from natural and/or found objects. Using light-sensitive chemicals and objects like leaves, flowers, lace, jewelry and more, this workshop is perfect for beginners, and anyone interested in alternative photographic processes. Leave with 5-10 unique prints and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of natural light and texture!
Haunted Doll Scavenger Hunt
Medford Public Library 111 High St., MedfordThe dolls are back! They took an adventure into the woods and we need help finding them. Can you help us? This all-ages “haunted” doll scavenger hunt will kick off at Wright’s Pond at 1pm on Sunday, Oct. 26. Be sure to wear your hiking shoes because the dolls will be hidden along the trails. Registration is appreciated; all are welcome! Participants will all receive a free book.
