The Medford Family Network kicks off its seven-concert summer series with Karen K and the Jitterbugs at Wright’s Pond. Due to predicted severe weather, the Medford Family Network's concert with Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys at Wright’s Pond has been canceled. Other Wright's Pond concerts will be presented on July 24 (All Hands Drumming) and July 31 (Alastair Moock). Three MFN concerts will be held at the Condon Band Shell park in August, featuring a special guest on August 7; Matt Heaton and the Outside Toys on August 14; and Ben Rudnick and Friends on August 21.

Join the Medford Arts Resource Vehicle (MARV) and Medford Recreation for some fun outdoor crafts and activities for children ages 2 to 6 at Wright's Pond. Outdoor Movie: Hook
The Medford Recreation Department concludes its summer outdoor movie series with a showing of the 1991 Steven Spielberg adventure/fantasy film "Hook" at Wright's Pond. The movie (2 hours, 15 minutes long) will begin at 8 p.m., but come an hour earlier as the Rec Department will have music and lawn games set up onsite, along with free popcorn. The Medford Recreation Department invites children ages 6-12 to come to Wright's Pond and carve a pumpkin that will be part of a float in Wright's Pond during the city's Halloween Fest on Saturday, October 29.
