Everyone is welcome at Temple Shalom's annual party to celebrate the Festival of Lights. There will be loads of homemade latkes (potato pancakes); magic and entertainment by Jim Munsey of Munsey's Magic; arts and crafts, including a chance to make scrap metal menorahs with artist Archie Nahman; games; and a Porter Square Books book fair. Temple Shalom invites the community to attend its Cantor’s Adult Education Class, which will feature a screening and discussion of the film "The Testament." The film is a mystery, a history, and a Greek tragedy all rolled into one. Released in 2018, "The Testament" is 88 minutes long and is in Hebrew, English and German (with subtitles).

Temple Shalom presents its annual Hanukkah Party, featuring magic by Mike Harrington, home made latkes, scrap metal menorah making, crafts, games, and balloon animals.
