This month's book is "The Remains of the Day" by Kazuo Ishiguro, which won the 1989 Man Booker Prize for Fiction. Ishiguro received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2017. Today is the closing day for the Medford Public Library's temporary location at 200 Boston Avenue, and also the last day to pick up holds (until 5 p.m.). The book drop will be available for returns over the weekend of December 4-5 but it will be removed early on the morning of Monday, December 6.
