Brooks Fall Festival
Do you sing? Play music? Recite poetry? The Brooks Elementary School Fall Festival invites members of the community to perform during the Open Mic segment from 2 to 3 p.m. The event, a fundraiser for the Brooks PTO, also will include a collaborative art installation, pumpkin carving contest, sand art, costume parade, food, rides and games. The event will take place rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Intro to Brush Lettering
Medford Recreation invites you to come learn the basics and practice the art of brush lettering. Each attendee will have a chance to letter two of their own greeting cards (just in time for Valentine's Day) and take home their included supplies. Alex Cumming: Play for the Vote
Medford musician Alex Cumming is taking part in the nationwide #PlayForTheVote initiative to bring live music to polling stations on Election Day. Play for the Vote's goal is "increasing voter turnout by providing a more positive voting experience." All performances are voluntary, non-political, and will follow Covid safety guidelines. National Arab American Heritage Day Celebration
The City of Medford invites you to its National Arab American Heritage Day Celebration at the Brooks Elementary School. Come learn about Arabic culture, food, music, dance, history, and henna art. Lakota YouthStay Poetry Workshop
The Lakota YouthStay program is presenting a free poetry workshop, "Let's Make a Memory: Connecting Community," in the Brooks Elementary School library. The City of Medford’s Commission for Persons with Disabilities invites you to attend its disABILITY Fair to learn about resources for those with disabilities.
