DESCRIPTION:EventThem Studios invites you to an opening for a new exhibition by JJ Gonson\, a prolific photographer of musicians and bands from the 1980s and ’90s\, first in the Boston area and then in Portland\, Oregon. Shooting both live events and posed photos for magazines\, newspapers\, and promotional materials\, she amassed a collection of intimate portraits of musicians\, friends and fans\, both live on stage and candid off of it. Come meet the remarkable artist and take in decades of experiences. Some of Gonson’s pieces on display have never been seen by the public. She will also be selling her pieces and merchandise. There also will be live music. The Gonson exhibit will be on view through December 31; regular gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.\, Monday through Friday.
