SUMMARY:Missituk School Celebration of Cultures
DESCRIPTION:Missituk Elementary School presents its Celebration of Cultures\, featuring Irish step dancing\, Spanish songs\, a salsa lesson\, and a martial arts presentation. The grand finale will be a bilingual storytelling event\, “Why the Sea Cries\,” by Esther Gomez and Karina Liendo at 6:30 p.m. It’s a story of a Brazilian Cinderella who has a unique “sister” who helps her through difficult times. Students will be invited up on stage for an interactive storytelling experience\, followed by a fun game\, music and dance. The event is supported in part by a Medford Arts Council grant. \n
