SUMMARY:MPS Jumpstart Music Camp
DESCRIPTION:The Medford Public Schools Performing Arts Department will once again offer a two-week Jumpstart Music Camp at Medford High School where students can get a jumpstart on their success for the coming school year. This program has sessions for Band\, Orchestra\, and Color Guard (new this year) and is ideal for beginner musicians and more experienced intermediate-level students. Camp will run during the weeks of August 5-9 and August 12-16 from 9 a.m. to noon and is open to Medford Public School students entering grades 4 to 9. Students will present an End-of-Camp Showcase at 11 a.m. on August 16\, which is free and open to all family and friends. Cost is $100 per student and covers both weeks. SUMMARY:MPS Jumpstart Instrumental Music Camp
DESCRIPTION:Medford Public Schools is offering a free two-week camp at Medford High School where students can get a jumpstart on their band and orchestra instruments. This camp helps students jumpstart their success in the MPS instrumental programs\, and gives them a jumpstart on the upcoming school year. The camp is open to students entering grades 4 to 8 and will take place from 9 a.m. to noon daily during the weeks of August 14-18 and August 21-25. Students will present an end of camp showcase at 11 a.m. on August 25 that is free and open to all family and friends. Students will also receive a free Jumpstart Music Camp T-shirt. Although students are strongly encouraged to attend both weeks of camp in order to gain the most out of the camp experience\, students may also attend just one week.
