DESCRIPTION:The Medford Family Network shifts its series of seven outdoor concerts to the Condon Shell for August\, starting with a performance by Lindsay Munroe. Children’s activities will take place from 5 to 6 p.m.\, followed by the concert from 6 to 7 p.m. In order to create a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone to enjoy the music\, this will be sensory friendly event. There will be a sensory tent with a quiet area\, fidgets\, ear protection\, sunglasses and sensory seating.  Please bring a blanket and pack a picnic. Alternatively\, Friends of the Medford Network is offering pre-order sales of pizza\, chicken tenders and salad from For Pizza. SUMMARY:Mystic Music Fest
DESCRIPTION:The annual Mystic Music Fest\, a free\, family friendly afternoon of live music\, returns to the Condon Music Shell. Performing will be Tilt-a-Whirl (1 to 2 p.m.)\, a North Shore group playing 50/50 covers and original songs from 1 to 2 p.m.; The Spittin’ Vinnies (2:30 to 3:45)\, the band that plays all the songs you know by heart\, plus plus originals “Drink to Boston” and “Stripes Can Dance” (and features Mystic Music Fest organizer Russ Robar on trumpet); and The Porter Squares (4 to 5)\, playing originals and some great lesser covered covers. Also\, in between bands\, singer-songwriter Becca Hannah will perform acoustic sets. Her soulful\, jazzy\, alt R&B sound is heavily influenced by various artists such as Amy Winehouse\, Corrine Bailey Rae\, Norah Jones and Carole King. Medford Brewing Company also will be back with a beer garden. The Mystic Music Fest is presented by Robar Therapy Massage.
