And School of Rock\, which is opening in Medford next month\, will have its final “instrument petting zoo” of the season where kids and try out guitars\, drums and more. SUMMARY:Medford Family Concert: Coywolf Johnson Family Band
DESCRIPTION:The Medford Family Network continues its series of seven free outdoor concerts with a Condon Shell performance by the Coywolf Johnson Family Band\, led by Medford’s Hendrik Gideonse. Children’s activities will take place from 5 to 6 p.m.\, followed by the concert from 6 to 7 p.m. The band will play a few of their favorite spirituals\, blues and original music\, and add some lovely classic Sesame Street songs to the repertoire.  The band consists of Laura Rótolo on vocals; Lucia and Magdalena (Maggie) on vocals; Rick Forzese on drums; Mark Hobbs on guitar; Mike Sax on saxophone; and Hendrik on vocals and bass guitar. \nPlease bring a blanket and pack a picnic. Alternatively\, Friends of the Medford Network is offering pre-order sales of pizza\, chicken tenders and salad from For Pizza. Food must be ordered through the FMFN website by 2 p.m.; it will be delivered to the Condon Shell at about 5:15 p.m. And at the concert\, Colleen’s will be selling ice cream\, cookies and ice pops. The final concert in the series will feature Ben Rudnick and Friends on August 27. \n  \n  \n
