SUMMARY:Teen Perspectives on Immigration Talent Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Arts Collaborative Medford is hosting the Immigrant Learning Center’s Teen Perspectives on Immigration Talent Showcase. Students from Medford\, Malden and Everett public high schools created art\, essays and videos to express their perspectives on the cultural impact of immigrants on American society for this year’s Teen Perspectives Contest. Selected works will be on display at ACM for a talent showcase to bring these unique perspectives to the community. All are invited to come and see the works and perhaps spark interesting conversations. There will be a brief reading and light refreshments. \nThe Immigrant Learning Center\, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization based in Malden that gives immigrants a voice through teaching English\, educating the public\, and researching immigration.
