SUMMARY:The Gaza Monologues
DESCRIPTION:Pen\, Paint\, and Pretzels\, the umbrella organization for student-run performing arts groups at Tufts University\, is sponsoring a public reading of ASHTAR Theatre’s “The Gaza Monologues.” This performance is a response to ASHTAR’s November 2023 call to theatre-makers worldwide to perform these monologues in solidarity with the Palestinian people. “The Gaza Monologues” were written by Palestinian youth after the 2008-09 war and testify to the suffering\, humanity\, hopes\, and dreams of a generation growing up under siege. Free and open to the public. \n
