DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Medford Family Network invites you to the annual Valentine Family Fest\, a fundraiser to support the programs of the Medford Family Network\, a CACHE member. Pizza\, ice cream\, face painting and crafts will be available all afternoon. Local artist Sarah Beardslee will be offering “Making a Valentine’s Flower Garden with Saturdays by Sarah\,” a special craft activity for kids of all ages. In addition to this\, we’ll have a wide array of craft options for making valentines and art. \nThere also will be three magic shows by Mike Bent’s AbraKidabra – Boston’s Top Kids’ Entertainer. The first\, at 3:15 p.m.\, will be geared for families with kids with special sensory needs and will run 20 minutes. The second will start at 4 p.m. and the third at 5 p.m. These will both run 30 minutes. Attendees are asked  to attend only one magic show to make sure there is space for everyone to enjoy. An individual pass is $10\, and a family pass for three or more people is $30. Order through the event web page. Please note that you do not have to live in Medford in order to attend this event. \nCan’t attend the Family Fest? You can support the MFN with a Valentine’s Edition Silent Auction. Bidding opens on Friday\, February 9\, and closes at 8 p.m. on Monday\, February 12. \nThe Medford Family Network is a free\, universal (everyone welcome) parenting education and family support program focusing on the positive impact on the developmental process of children prenatal to age 8\, and supporting the families that care for them. \n  \n
