The Boston Glory Ultimate Frisbee team is incorporating live music into several of its 2023 home games, which are played at Hormel Stadium. For today’s 7 p.m. contest against the New York Empire, the Ultimate Music Series will feature local singer-songwriter Sam Dimitrius, plus a kickoff party for bands that will be playing in the first Medford Porchfest on Saturday, June 3. Musicians will play pre-game and at halftime, as well as perform the national anthem. Tickets are $14 in advance through the Boston Glory website, $18 at the gate. Kids under age 12 can get a complimentary ticket to one game by signing up for the free Boston Glory Kids Club through the team’s website. Other games in the music series will feature the Medford Community Chorale on Saturday, June 24, and singer Robert Thackery on Friday, July 21.
